Scholarships

We are thrilled to extend this opportunity to you. The 2023 Chapter Presidents Council (CPC) Individual Scholarship Applications are now available!  Each year, the Chapter Presidents’ Council (CPC) grants scholarship awards to individual members of chapters. This year the CPC will award a maximum of 10 scholarships in the amount of $1,000.00 per individual scholarship.  

This scholarship can be used toward GBTA 2023 Convention Registration, GTP, GLP or any other educational sessions. GBTA has generously extended a scholarship recipient discount for Convention Registration of $995.00 through June 7th, 2023 for any scholarship recipient.

To qualify for this Scholarship, you must be a chapter member:  Become a GBTA SOFLO Chapter Member

Who is Eligible: Any Direct or Allied Member in good standing with their local Chapter during the 2023 year. Membership Will be verified.

Tips: in the portion Please explain in detail how you would use the scholarship money and how it would contribute to advancing your career: explain in detail why you need this scholarship 80% of the points are contributed to your summary

The Fine Print: One online application per member may be submitted. The scholarship is valid for two (2) years from the date of the award. A member can only win a scholarship once every two years. Scholarships cannot be used for any competitor events. Scholarships will be reimbursed once the educational event has been paid for. Proper receipts for the event must accompany a GBTA expense report which must be submitted online. Email [email protected] to receive this form.
